Kaitie is an associate at Saunders & Silverstein, where she relies on a background in art history to offer unique perspectives in matters of trademark and copyright prosecution, enforcement, and transactions. She counsels clients in a wide range of trademark and copyright matters all the way from prosecution of a single trademark at a local state level to large portfolios on a global scale. In 2022, she was named as a Massachusetts Super Lawyers Rising Star.

Kaitie graduated with a J.D. from the University of New Hampshire School of Law (now known as the University of New Hampshire Franklin Pierce School of Law) in 2019, where she focused her studies on intellectual property law and graduated in the top ten percent of her class. During her time in law school, Kaitie served as the Editor in Chief of IDEA: The Law Review of the Franklin Pierce Center for Intellectual Property and as Secretary for UNH Law’s Sports and Entertainment Law Society. Upon graduation, Kaitie also earned the Franklin Pierce Intellectual Property Law Certificate, the Entertainment Law Certificate, and received the Franklin Pierce Center for Intellectual Property Excellence in Intellectual Property Law award.

Before attending law school, Kaitie received a B.A. in Classics and Art History from Concordia College, Moorhead Minnesota, and a master’s degree in art history from the University of Oregon. She still loves art and history, and she volunteers at a local historical society in her free time to stay connected with those fields.
