Dionne Heard is an intellectual property attorney with 15 years of experience counseling businesses on trademark, copyright, and brand protection matters in the United States and internationally. She represents clients ranging from emerging companies to established global brands, advising on the development, protection, enforcement, and commercialization of intellectual property assets.

Her practice focuses on trademark clearance, prosecution, portfolio management, and trademark and copyright enforcement, including proceedings before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board, and in federal court. She also advises clients on copyright protection, licensing, online enforcement, UDRP and DMCA proceedings, and strategies for protecting brands across digital platforms.

Dionne is also an Adjunct Professor at Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law, where she teaches Trademark Law Practice.
