By installing and using the USPTO Quick Links Google® Workspace Add-on (the “Add-on”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not install or use the Add-on.

2. Description of Service

USPTO Quick Links is a productivity tool designed to scan the active email in your Gmail® account for 7-digit and 8-digit numbers and generate hyperlinks to the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) Trademark Status & Document Retrieval (TSDR) system.

We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the USPTO or the United States Government.

3. No Legal Advice

The Add-on is provided solely for convenience and administrative efficiency. It does not provide legal advice, trademark clearance, or official legal monitoring. You are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy of any trademark statuses, deadlines, or documents on the official USPTO website.

4. User Responsibilities

When using the Add-on, you agree to:

• Use the Add-on only for lawful purposes.
• Comply with all applicable terms of service and acceptable use policies of the USPTO when accessing their TSDR system via our generated links.
• Acknowledge that the Add-on’s ability to accurately detect numbers depends on the formatting of the text within your emails.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Add-on is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. We make no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the Add-on’s availability, reliability, or accuracy. We do not guarantee that the Add-on will detect every trademark number or that the USPTO website will be available when a link is clicked.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, USPTO Quick Links and its developer(s) shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the Add-on, including but not limited to missed legal deadlines, errors in USPTO data, or loss of business.

7. Modifications to the Add-on and Terms

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Add-on at any time without notice. We may also update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the Add-on after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
